Deposits
Your tour date is not reserved until a deposit is paid. Deposits vary from 100% to 25% depending on the tour you have booked.
Cancellation policy
In the event that the tour is cancelled by Highlander Tours Ltd, a full refund will be issued to the customer.
In the event the customer needs to cancel, a 50% refund will be issued if cancellation notice is given up to 6 weeks prior to the tour date.
Accommodations
Please note that unless otherwise specified, you are responsible for booking your own accommodation - please let us know when you have it booked so we can plan accordingly!
What is included in your tour:
* Transportation for the duration of the tour
* Bottled water and snacks
* Whisky/apple juice to toast the day
Expenses not included
* Lunch
* Entrance fees into locations - major credit cards are accepted most places, but we advise having cash as a backup. You can purchase single tickets at each location, however if you plan to visit other Historic Scotland sites while on your trip, passes are great value. Pass options include the Historic Scotland Explorer Pass or a Historic Scotland Membership
Weather policy
Scottish weather is fickle and can change throughout the day. Please come prepared with a rain jacket or umbrella as we conduct our tours rain or shine.
Footwear
Please wear comfortable shoes. Castle steps can be steep, narrow, and sometimes slippery.
Liability
Highlander Tours will not be held liable for any injury or loss of property during the duration of your tour.
Itinerary
Locations cannot be guaranteed, but we will always have an exciting backup plan!
