Where will my tour begin?
Private tours include pickup and drop-off at your accommodations in the Glasgow or Edinburgh area.
Group tours have 2 meetup locations: 266 George Street in Glasgow, or Dalmeny Train Station
Does Highlander Tours Book My accommodations?
We do not book our clients accommodations, but we do recommend the general area in which to book for each night of your tour. This allows our guests to choose what works best within their budget, preferences, etc.
What Should I Wear?
Scottish weather is fickle and can change throughout the day. We recommend layers for keeping warm and dry as needed. Please come prepared with a rain jacket or umbrella as we conduct our tours rain or shine.
Please wear comfortable shoes. Castle steps can be steep, narrow, and sometimes slippery.
Are locations guaranteed?
ometimes there are closures beyond our control for things such as filming or renovations. Locations cannot be guaranteed but we will always have an exciting backup plan!
Do you sell Outlander Merchandise?

Where Can I Get Help planning my Trip?
Our Facebook Group "Scottish Adventure" is a friendly, helpful place where locals and visitors share their travel tips, photos etc, and this is a great place to get advice and recommendations!

How many people are on a group tour?
Our group tours are a maximum of 8 guests. This small group size means you get to meet other guests while still being able to personally interact with your guide.
How many people Can be on a Private tour?
Our private tours can take up to 8 guests.
Can we visit the Outlander set if they're filming?
Out of respect for the cast and crew, we do not take our guests to film sets, or to filming locations that are private.
What Payment Methods to you Accept?
For international payments we invoice via Stripe which lets you pay via credit/debit card or bank account. We will accept international bank transfers from anywhere, and if you are paying inside the UK you can do a bank transfer.
Can You send invoices to multiple guests per tour?
Unfortunately we are not able to invoice multiple guests. Each tour is invoiced to one person to keep things simple and efficient.
Do You have a phone Number I can Call?
We are a small business without office phone lines, and we try to keep our communications in email as much as possible. This allows us to keep track of conversations and make sure we don't miss details. We are happy to answer your questions via email!
Do You Work With Travel Agents?
We do not offer any discounts or exclusive offers, but we are always happy to check our calendars if you have clients who are interested in booking with us!
